Looking Ahead
The Chalkida meeting reinforced the project’s commitment to empowering citizens, advancing sustainable energy systems, and building scalable models for replication across Europe. The insights gained will directly inform the next and last phase of ECOEMPOWER activities, ensuring that innovation is matched with real social and regional impact.
Equally important was the opportunity to connect on a personal level: participants enjoyed the warm hospitality of Chalkida, shared informal discussions outside the sessions, and gathered for a convivial dinner that strengthened bonds within the consortium. These social moments highlighted the importance of collaboration not just in research and policy, but also in building trust and friendships across borders. A big thanks to the organisers for the wonderful time!
