06.05.2026 | ECOEMPOWER joined the 2026 European Energy Communities Forum in Jūrmala, Latvia, where Karolína Vítková presented our regional One‑Stop‑Shops and Energy‑ICT Platform in the SHINEy session on One‑Stop‑Shops.

ECOEMPOWER took part in the 2026 European Energy Communities Forum, held on 5–7 May in Jūrmala, Latvia, a three‑day gathering of community energy practitioners and allies from across Europe organised by REScoop.eu. In the SHINE session "Looking for a tool? Look no further: SHINE One‑Stop‑Shops are here to boost your local impact!”, Karolína Vítková joined Sebastian Stoy (Vienna) and Sara Gollessi (Enostry) to present how ECOEMPOWER’s regional One‑Stop‑Shops and Energy‑ICT Platform support emerging energy communities with data, tools and tailored advice.
The session took place in the wider context of the Forum’s workshops, exchanges and policy discussions, which focused on strengthening Europe’s energy democracy movement and giving projects concrete tools to develop their communities. Questions from participants ranged from practical issues such as data sources for OSS support to broader reflections on the role of artificial intelligence in One‑Stop‑Shops and energy communities, underlining how events like the Forum help ECOEMPOWER test its approaches, connect with peer initiatives and extend the project’s networking.
