19.09.2024 | The consortium met again for a project meeting after the first year of ECOEMPOWER.

We recently gathered in the city of Chambery, France, for the 3rd ECOEMPOWER project meeting, hosted by our partner AURA-EE. The two days were filled with productive discussions, insightful workshops, and meaningful exchanges as we continue our mission to support energy communities across Europe.

Day 1: Project Updates and City Tour

The first day focused on updates from each of the project’s work packages. We reflected on the progress made during the first project year and discussed plans for the next six months. It was an excellent opportunity to celebrate our achievements and align on the priorities for the future.

In the evening, we enjoyed a tour of the beautiful city of Chambery, followed by a great team dinner, which offered a chance to connect in a relaxed setting and strengthen our collaboration.

Day 2: One Stop Shops Workshop

Day two was centered around a workshop on One Stop Shops (OSS). We discussed strategies to make OSS more effective in supporting energy communities, offering integrated services and helping communities adopt sustainable energy solutions.

We also met with local energy communities from the French ecosystem to hear how they are driving the energy transition through bottom-up initiatives. Their experiences were inspiring and provided valuable insights.

Moving Forward

This meeting has left us feeling energized and ready for the next steps. The collaboration and ideas shared over these two days will guide us as we continue working towards a greener, more sustainable future.

A big thank you to AURA-EE for hosting, and to all our partners for their dedication! We’re excited for what’s ahead.
