"Klima & Energie" Lecture Series in the Allgäu

We began 2025 with great energy and enthusiasm by participating in the "Klima & Energie” lecture series in Füssen, Allgäu, on January 13th. This series continues to serve as a vital platform for discussing pressing climate and energy issues while fostering community engagement.

The topic for the evening, Energy Sharing, was selected by the community as the most compelling from a range of climate-related themes. This choice highlights the growing interest in collaborative and sustainable approaches to energy management, particularly at the local level.

The evening featured an engaging presentation by Ludwig Karg from B.A.U.M., titled "Energy Sharing: Today, Tomorrow, and Beyond.” Karg offered attendees a comprehensive look at the evolution of energy sharing—from its current applications to future possibilities and challenges. His insights not only inspired the 55 attendees but also deepened their understanding of how energy sharing can play a pivotal role in building a sustainable future.

During his talk, Karg also spotlighted our project, ECOEMPOWER, shedding light on the innovative work we’re doing in the Allgäu region to advance sustainable energy solutions.
