04.02.2025 | Our Italian Regional Ecosystem formally established the first One Stop Shop.
The Autonomous Province of Trento, ECOEMPOWER's Italian partner, has formalised the establishment of the One Stop Shop to support renewable energy communities in the Trentino province. This is primarily an online service dedicated to citizens, businesses, public bodies and private individuals interested in creating or becoming members of a renewable energy community or one of the other self-consumption and renewable energy sharing configurations provided by italian regulation.
Through the dedicated section on https://infoenergia.provincia.tn.it/Autoconsumo-diffuso you have access for each configuration to an overview of the opportunities at national and local level, also through direct links to tools available online to configure and design an Energy Community. In addition, the portal now contains a list of energy communities that are being set up, but tends to become a showcase of initiatives born in Trentino. For the activation of the One Stop Shop, several meetings were held with local stakeholders, and the site acts as a direct link with the services of other relevant actors in the territory, such as Cooperazione Trentina.
This is a first step towards the establishment of a service that, in the medium term, should be managed directly by the stakeholders. The portal, at this stage, is managed directly by APRIE, the provincial agency for hydric and energy resources.
